Darren grew up on a small Island 8 miles off the coast of Georgia. This is where the acting bug started for him, by doing community theater. At the age of 18 he left that small Island and never looked back. (o.k. maybe once or twice) He came to Long Island University (C.W.Post), where he did there Summer program. (What's a Monologue?) He then stayed on to go to college at the university. With help from the university and scholarships he graduated with a B.F.A in theater and film. He then moved to NYC to continue his studies. He has been in LA for 3 years now and has been keeping busy, doing what he loves.....

Darren is very excited to have been a part of  Marvel Comics production  of "Thor" (interview on side) directed by
Kenneth Branagh.  Can't really say to much about it right now (or his role)....

He  also worked recently on a
Spielberg/Disney/Dreamworks film called  "I Am Number Four" directed by D.J. Caruso.

He just shot a Nikon commercial with Ashton Kutcher which was directed by Jonas Akerlund.

Darren has worked on various independent films including
"Closer" ( not that one) and "Downtown & Higher". One of his lead role films include "Without Mercy" which won the Grand Jury award for best picture at the New York Film and Video Festival. Another film he has out now on
DVD is "DISORDER" which he plays the main character David Randall, (see link on side for trailer & reviews). "DISORDER" was pick-up and distributed by Universal Pictures and had a limited theatrical release in New York. It was also picked up by Warner Brothers for TV. This film  was screened as well at the Cannes Film Festival. His most recent film out was "Royal Kill" starring Eric Roberts and Pat Morita. His recent Documentary was "A Mormon President" were he played Joseph Smith. (link to trailer on the side)  He also opened the LA Sci-Fi/Horror Film Festival (ShriekFest) last Summer with one of Ray Bradbury's stories,"Chrysalis" were he played the lead Rockwell. It also won the Best Sci-Fi Feature at the "International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival" He also has been a guest star on Heroes (Clear & Present Danger) and recently on "All My Children".  He is now working on 2 web series. "Reckless" and "Young Gentlemen Explorers" which will soon be released.

His last theater production was "Naughty Prep School Stories" at the New York Fringe Festival. Some of his other stage credits include the off-off-Broadway production of "Ourselves Alone", "The 8 Minute Madness Playwright Festival", "Happy Anniversary" at the Grove Street Playhouse, "The Interrogation" at the Pelican Theatre, "The Winter's Tale", "Kennedy's Children", and "Murder in the Magnolias".
